The Dramas of a Stuck Personality.
If a person does not compete a major learning experience, like the forming of independent relationships with family members, then this part of their personality becomes "stuck" at this stage.
Result = stagnation.
This sub-personality can, and often does, exert a strong infuence upon the main personality. Thus, a person can live a whole life under the influence of one or more of these sub-personalities. These influences are often deep, disturbing and confusing, and generally the causes remain unknown to the individual.
They can disrupt the normal growth of an individual and cause havoc and pain for all concerned.
These sub-personalities are formed of unresolved pychological factors. To end their, often destructive reign upon an individual, they need to be resolved - understood, healed, completed, and dissolved - before an individual can again his/her Holistic Health.
Usually, we tend to try to ignore their influence and many people resort to some form of distraction activity or sedation. These strategies do not serve to heal the cause of the dis-ease and can lead to further denial and repression of the real causes of the illness.
